COVID-19: Extra precautions are being taken during this difficult time for our cats and volunteers. For this reason we will be processing contact free - only adoptions.

ADOPTION

Looking for a life companion? You have come to the right place. Every month we have cats of all ages and temperaments come through our doors with the hope their new home will be their last. As a small organisations passionate about the interactions pets and owners have. Adopting from us means your guaranteed to have someone at the end of the phone for support and advice from your first meet through to your cats twilight years.

When adopting from us you receive a first class and unique experience. We get to know each cat in our care on a personal level and we take the time to put together a cat care, welfare and behaviour document tailored to your adoptive cat. We then have a coffee with you, going through everything we learnt about your new family member. When your ready we carry out a home check and you start your new chapter, with our help during the settling in period. After a successful settling in period you become a New Leaf Alumni and have access to our advice, help and services throughout your New Leaf Adoptive Cats life.

Please note - this is the process for every adopter.

Neveah

Meow-allo!

My name is Neveah and I have been with New Leaf for one week now with Kirsty looking after me. I don't understand why she wears a mask all the time but I like to rub my face on it when getting cuddles. I have to wear a cone right now because I got neutered last week but I don't really mind it. I am the most patient, loving and playful kitten you will every meet. I don't know what I love more, cuddles or playing but I am really good at vocalising what I want. Kirsty is slowly getting to know what I am trying to say. My favourite toy is the feather teaser and even after 30minutes I tell Kirsty I haven't had enough! I also love it when I get a big morning cuddle and I love curling up on her lap. Neveah x

'Neveah will bring so much happiness to the right family. She is capable of forming a bond quickly if you take the time to understand her. From what I have observed so far, Neveah could be homed with a family, other cats, animals and even a dog but this will be circumstantial on how well she matches with all members of the family. Neveah will suit someone who can give her the attention she craves, she wont be one to want to be left alone alot. She has been an indoor cat her whole life but at her young age she could be introduced to the outdoors, if it safe enough. If you have the time to give to Neveah and are committed to giving her a home from her kitten days through to her twilight years, we would love to hear from you! - Kirsty'
